Dr. Friedline is a board-certified family physician and clinical pathologist with Imperial Valley Family Care Medical Group in Brawley, California. He provides a range of acute, chronic, and preventive medical care services, including routine checkups and illness diagnosis, treatment, and management. His skills also contribute to disease diagnosis and treatment through knowledge gained by the laboratory application of the biologic, chemical, and physical sciences. A 1980 graduate of The Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, Dr. Friedline went on to complete his residency in family medicine at UPMC – Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He later completed a second residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Fisher Institute of Pathology of Shadyside Hospital, where he was the Chief Resident in the fourth and fifth years of the program. Wanting to further his training, he completed a fellowship in hematopathology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan and a diploma course in Tropical Medicine at West Virginia University.
